What we collect
HandshakeBuddy stores your licence key, plan status, and email for account and billing. Live call audio is processed locally on your device for speech-to-text. Questions sent to Answer Coach are transmitted to our cloud API and OpenAI to generate replies.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not record or store full meeting audio on our servers by default. Session history in the desktop app is stored locally on your machine.
Third parties
Payments are processed by Polar. AI replies are generated via OpenAI. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
