HandshakeBuddy vs Interview Coder

Interview Coder is a specialist: coding interviews, undetectability, and a $299/month price to match. HandshakeBuddy is broader and far cheaper — interviews, live meetings and client calls in one app at $29/month — but it is not a dedicated coding-problem solver.

Where Interview Coder is the better pick

  • For LeetCode-style coding rounds specifically, their dedicated solver is more focused than our general answer engine.
  • They advertise a much larger set of undetectability features and test against interview platforms daily.
  • A lifetime option exists, which we do not offer.
  • If coding interviews at large tech companies are your only use case, they are purpose-built for exactly that.

Where we think we win

  • A tenth of the monthly price for live answers that are hidden from screen share.
  • It keeps being useful after you get the job — meetings and client calls, not just interviews.
  • Answers are capped short so you can say them out loud, rather than reading a long solution.
  • A $9.99 day pass if you only need it for one conversation.
  • We make the narrow, verifiable claim about invisibility rather than promising to defeat every detection system.

Switching questions

No. The overlay is excluded from screen capture at the operating-system level, so when you share your screen — Zoom, Meet, Teams, or a recording tool — those pixels are never sent. What they see is your screen without it. To be straightforward about the limits: this protects against screen sharing and screen recording. It does not make the overlay invisible to a camera pointed at your monitor, to someone sitting next to you, or to proctoring software that inspects your machine rather than the video stream.
